IRT & LPRT Collaborate in Marketing

The International Racquetball Tour (IRT) and the Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) are thrilled to announce a collaboration in marketing. The goal of this joint effort is the promotion of racquetball, focusing specifically on the men’s and women’s pro tours. As part of this cross-marketing campaign, each tour will share and promote the other tour’s website, events, live event finals, and commercials. Mike Grisz, CEO of the IRT said, “We are thrilled to be working with the LPRT in a way that will help promote both tours. This is a win-win for everyone.”

Commissioner of the LPRT, T. J. Baumbaugh, said “We feel this is a good start to organizations within racquetball working with each other for the good of the sport. The LPRT and IRT were on the same page discussing this collaboration; it was a fluid, easy process.”

Founded in 1990, the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) features 300 players competing in over 20 Top-Tier and more than 50 Satellite tournaments in Latin America, the United States, and Canada. Pro/Am tournaments draw professional, amateur, and college entrants during the season.

The LPRT is the event-driven governing body of the best female racquetball players in the world. This diverse group of talented athletes travels and competes in host cities across North and South America.
