IRT Rollsout New Logo
Washington, MO. August 27, 2018- As the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) gets prepared for its 2018-2019 season to begin, it is also proud to reveal to the racquetball community the new official logo of the Tour!
For the first time in seven years, the Tour has made the decision to alter the official logo in order to demonstrate some of the changes coming from new the ownership and management. The new logo still features the famous Cliff Swain, two time U.S. Open Champion, silhouette in the middle, but has some changes to the colors and background. Tour partner Joel Arbuckle, President and Founder of Arbuckle Media, created the new logo.
C.E.O. of the IRT, John Scott, said he can’t wait to hear what the fans and players think about the logo. Scott also mentioned the new logo would be “more universal and open to edit” depending on the different months and events happening on Tour.
“We stuck with the red, white and blue back splash that represents several different countries, but we can change those colors as we go along,” Scott said. “For events in Mexico we could change those colors accordingly, or in October you might see more pink for breast cancer awareness. There are lots of different ideas we have, and can produce with this new Tour logo.”
Trademark requests have been sent in for the new IRT logo, as well as the phrase, “World’s Fastest Sport”. Below you can see the progression of all the different IRT logos.
