42nd Annual Lewis Drug Pro/Am Preview

Get ready to head up north for the 42nd annual Lewis Drug Pro/Am Tier 1 International Racquetball Tour’s (IRT) tournament. From January 23-26 at the Sioux Falls Family YMCA in downtown Sioux Falls, South Dakota, catch the Tour’s elite athletes compete for over $28 thousand dollars in total prize money. Don’t miss the chance to be apart of history, as the Lewis Drug Pro/Am is the longest running pro racquetball tournament in the United States.
Alex Landa from Juarez, Mexico comes in as the #1 seed, as defending champion Kane Waselenchuk is sidelined with the flu. 2017 Champion Daniel De La Rosa, residing in Gilbert, Arizona fresh off his finals appearance at the Longhorn Open comes in as the #7 seed.
You can expect 18 of the Tour’s top 20 ranked players to be competing over the weekend, all participants looking to take a piece of over $28 thousand dollars in prize money. 24 players have registered for IRT Doubles action, including the 2018 US Open Doubles Champions Daniel De La Rosa, residing in Gilbert, Arizona and Alvaro Beltran, from Tijuana, Mexico.
“The International Racquetball Tour is thrilled to be back in Sioux Falls for this event. This is the longest running racquetball tournament in the United States, and the players love playing here and seeing familiar faces year after year, everyone is like family.” says IRT CEO, Mike Grisz.
