Pro Racquetball Returns to New Jersey

altThe New Jersey Open (NJO), the Garden State’s one and only professional racquetball event returns to Warren during the 2013-2014 IRT Season on December 12-15, 2013! In conjunction with the International Racquetball Tour (IRT) and Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT), the Rollout Event Group is proud to showcase the top racquetball players in the world. The men’s and women’s Pro/Am tournament will bring together 75+ professional players, 1000+ amateur players and spectators, plus more than 20,000 online viewers from around the world.

Held at the historic Warren Racquet Club, in Warren and produced by the Rollout Event Group, a sister company to Rollout Lifestyle Apparel, the sport’s leading clothing provider to amateur and professional racquetball players nationwide, the NJ Open will feature professional and amateur matches, top-notch hospitality, fan experiences, local and national media coverage, and special guest appearances.

Founded in 1990, the men’s professional International Racquetball Tour (IRT) features 300 players competing in over 20 Top-Tier and more than 50 Satellite tournaments in Latin America, the United States, and Canada. Tournaments draw amateur and college entrants during the September through May season. The amateur players compete in divisions ranging from beginner to open level for both singles and doubles.

The Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) is the governing body of a growing membership of the highest-level professional female racquetball players in the world. The LPRT is an organization currently managed by Deputy Commissioner Andy Kulback and President (and pro player) T.J. Baumbaugh. The LPRT is comprised of elite female athletes representing over a dozen countries including the United States, Mexico, Chile, Canada, Colombia, Japan, Dominican Republic and Venezuela.

The NJAR is New Jersey’s governing body of amateur racquetball. Rollout produces this event in conjunction with the NJAR in an effort to continually support the growth of racquetball in the Garden State.
