After working for several companies such as IBM and Coulter Electronics, Sal Perconti founded Perconti Data Systems in 1982. PDS has been a software development and data systems consulting company for more than 35 years, a substantial accomplishment in this volatile field. Working in both the private and public sectors, PDS has clients spread across the southeast US.
Sal has been an avid racquetball player for more than 40 years. He is a regular participant in the amateur divisions at the US Open Championships, National Doubles and Singles, the World Seniors events, as well as attending numerous IRT-Pro Stops. He has been a sponsor at most of these events. He has sat on the USA Racquetball Board of Directors for several years. He has been a Lifetime USAR member for almost 30 years.
He and his wife, Dee, have run the Online Charity Auction at the US Open since its inception and are strong supporters of St Jude’s and Rapha House. Rapha House has been a passion of theirs for more than 9 years since first visiting the safe houses in Cambodia. They are committed to work to end the trafficking of children.
